Aufgaben

Do you want to be part of an agile team where colleagueship and innovation truly matters? We are looking for a motivated colleague to join us as Development Engineer Electrical Pitch & Yaw Systems (m/f/d) in exciting and international projects in our global Engineering team.

YOUR TASKS

As member of our international team you take over several development tasks for our electrical pitch and yaw systems. Both systems consist of frequency converters and a various number of electro-mechanical drives.

In detail, this includes the following tasks:

  • Support of ongoing developments of the electrical pitch and yaw systems, from specification over prototyping to serial introduction
  • Plan, perform, evaluate and document tests for both electrical pitch and yaw systems, on component, system and turbine level
  • Programming, testing and automation of test cases in EXAM for HiL testing
  • Create related technical documentation, e.g. specifications and technical notifications
  • Data administration for the pitch and yaw systems over their entire lifecycle (PDM/PLM)
  • Development of new concepts in single axis control as well as in the control of electrical drives
  • Design, program and parametrize both the electrical pitch and yaw systems


Profil
  • M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar background, preferably in the field of automation, power electronic and/or electrical drives
  • Advanced knowledge in test automation using HiL (e.g. dSpace ControlDesk, EXAM)
  • Experience of a programming language like SCL (Siemens) and CoDeSys as well as MATLAB/Simulink is preferred
  • Experience in motor design and control of electrical drives to be of advantage
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Spanish and/or German is a plus.
  • Proactive, confident, reliable and a good team player
  • Well-structured and autonomous way of working with a solution-oriented mindset as well as accuracy and efficiency
  • Intercultural understanding and thriving on working collaboratively within cross-functional and global teams
  • Readiness for travel to tests at testbenches (in Rostock) for up to 20% of the working time in average
